China has recently expanded its visa-free policy, allowing citizens from 44 countries to enter without a visa under specific conditions. This initiative aims to enhance international exchanges and facilitate tourism and business interactions. Here are the details:

1. Countries Included:
– Asia: Brunei, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea,Mongolia
– Western Europe: France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria– Eastern Europe and the Baltics: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia
– Southern Europe: Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta
– Northern Europe: Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland
– Oceania: New Zealand, Australia
– Microstates: Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein

-South America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay.

2. Duration and Purpose:
– Visa-free stays are limited to 30 days  for purposes such as tourism, business, family visits, or exchanges.
– Visitors intending to study, work, or stay beyond 30 days will still require a visa.

3. Recent Updates:
– As of November 30, 2024, nine new countries, including Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, and Japan, have been added to the policy.
