Booking Terms and Conditions

Early Reservations
We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance to:
– Secure your spot in group tours.
– Confirm departure dates requiring a minimum number of participants.
– Avoid single room occupancy fees.
– Access the best prices for international/domestic flights (e.g., Kathmandu to Lhasa).

Tour Booking
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit.
– Price Guarantee: Once your deposit is received, the quoted price is guaranteed. Quotes are valid for 7 days only.
– Flight Fares: Flight ticket prices are finalized upon deposit payment.

Documents Required 
To apply for your Tibet Travel Permit, please provide:
– A clear scan of your passport (valid for 6 months).
– Your China visa (if applicable).
– Arrival and departure details (flight/train tickets).
– Accommodation details (hotel name, address, and contact).

Additional Information
– Entry point: Nepal or Mainland China.
– Transportation: Plane, train, or overland.
– Post-trip destination: Nepal or Mainland China.

Single Supplement
All accommodations are based on double occupancy.
– Sharing Options: Solo travelers can request to share a room (same gender).
– Fee Policy: If a roommate is unavailable, a single supplement fee applies.

Payment Policies
– Deposit: 30% of the tour cost, payable via bank transfer or PayPal (+4% PayPal fee).
– Balance: Due 7 days before the tour starts or in cash upon arrival in Lhasa.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your trip, written notification is required. Refunds are based on the cancellation timeline:
– 30+ days before departure: No fee (except ticket refund fees).
– 15–29 days: 15% of the total cost.
– 7–14 days: 30% of the total cost.
– Less than 7 days: 50% of the total cost.
– No-show: 100% of the total cost.

Unforeseen Cancellations 
In case of natural disasters or external factors, we may cancel the tour. You can choose between a refund (minus $50 per participant processing fee) or rescheduling to a future date.

Changes to Itinerary
Tibet’s remote locations require flexibility in travel plans. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, government restrictions).

Risk & Responsibilities 
Traveling in China, especially in Tibet, is an adventurous experience that may expose you to certain health risks. These include the possibility of altitude sickness, sunburn, diarrhea, and other potential issues related to the region’s unique conditions. Some destinations in Tibet feature challenging terrain, extreme weather, and physical demands. To ensure your safety, our team carefully monitors the situation on the ground, using both firsthand reports and government updates to decide whether itineraries should proceed as planned.

Your health and safety are our top priorities during your journey in Tibet. If you need medical assistance or any other support, please let us know immediately—we are available to assist you 24/7.

Travel Insurance 
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip to Tibet. At a minimum, your policy should cover personal injury, medical expenses, and emergency evacuations. For added peace of mind, we also suggest including coverage for loss of personal belongings, luggage theft, and trip cancellations.

Planning ahead ensures you can fully enjoy your adventure in Tibet with confidence and security.

Passports and Visas 
– Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
– From Mainland China: A Chinese tourist visa is required.
– From Nepal: We will assist in obtaining a China Group Visa through our Nepal agent.

Complaints
For immediate assistance during your trip, contact us to address any issues. Post-tour complaints must be submitted within 30 days of trip completion.
